America opened a trade war with the entire world, intending to rally the rest of the world to a united front against China, and isolate China to force their capitulation. One of the fronts in the evolving trade war with China that America opened up was a threat to de-list Chinese companies from US stock markets.
The Chinese response is their determination to now utterly destroy the value of American companies listed on American exchanges. Most American companies are now "American-in-Name-Only" between offshoring of manufacturing and white collar support positions, the firing and replacement of American workers domestically with H1B foreign nationals and the hiring of venal and predatory Indian CEOs who aim for the short term profit taking to juice their compensation packages over long term growth tied to real value strategies.
China within the last 48 hours opened up its own new front in the escalating trade war, dropping secrecy agreements and revealing to American and European consumers just how badly they are being ripped off by "American in Name Only" companies, and heavily promoting options to buy directly from Chinese manufacturers, cutting out the profit taking middle men, destroying the value, desirability and profit margin of American brands.
The problem with war, economic or kinetic, is that you can plan, strategize, war game, but once you cross the line of departure, you can’t control the response from your adversary. Your adversary is under no obligation to comply with Queensbury or Chatham House rules like non-disclosure of actual cost of goods.
In a full blown panic, social media influencers are now being paid to advance the same talking points in lockstep: refusing to continue to be ripped off by American-in-Name-Only companies is "unpatriotic", and buying direct from the Chinese manufacturers is "not good for the American economy" and China is "legalizing counterfeiting".
To wit:
THEY can buy direct from China, and pocket the profits, YOU should not.
Tesla didn't invent the electric car. Louis Vuitton didn't invent the sling handbag.
China developing and marketing their own versions of these products is not "counterfeiting". “Counterfeiting” is marketing knock off lower quality versions of those products, complete with logos and branding with the intent to deceive consumers that they are buying the “authentic” brand name product.
Ripping off original and paradigm shifting IP developed and paid for with US taxpayer subsidies is the real danger to the American economy and long term growth, yet there is no slow down in the issuance of F & OPT visas to Chinese and Indian students, allowing them to study and then work here, gaining access to IP that they can they rip off.
You are being directed to look "there", not "here".
The Great Unmasking
The fake fiat currency note issued by the Federal Reserve (FRN), which is not Federal and does not have Reserves, as the “USD” is in its final death throes. Those who have profited handsomely through this grift and have not yet fully unwound their positions and therefore remain at risk, are fighting tooth and nail to “save” the FRN.
